Container Terminal
Opened in September 2008, the Container Terminal is located in the harbour yard "Docuri" from Galati.
The existing infrastructure is integrated transport networks of national and international goods traffic by allowing direct connection with the states of Eastern Europe and Moldova, Ukraine, Russia etc.

Technical data:
  • Operating Capacity: 30,000 TEU / year;
  • Storage capacity: 1,500 TEU;
Infrastructure:
  • 20,000 sqm concrete platform;
  • Hall of groupage;
Logistics / equipment:
  • CONTSTACKER 45 tons;
  • Forklifts up to 28 tons;
  • 2 tractor heads +4 platform 60 tons;
  • 2 floating cranes of 32 tons;
  • mobile crane of 100 tons (attachable spreader);
  • crane of 230 tons - on demand;
Perimeter video port is secure and supervised under the ISPS Code.
